In the AMI Bios there is an option for loading a bios from the usb drive and there is an option for the M-Flash, which requires the UEFI formatted usb. However, I understand at least that the USB stick can be formatted for UEFI, so I am working on creating a UEFI usb stick. My OS is Slackware Linux 14.2, and I use the old-timey LILO bootloader in MBR, meaning I do not use UEFI. ![]() The existing bios in AMI v5.1 and the available upgrade instructions do not seem to apply.
